Rev. Timothy Wright Update

The New York Daily News is providing an update on the condition of the Rev. Timothy Wright. Wright is considered "the Godfather of Gospel", and was severely injured in a car accident last month that killed his wife and grandson. Rev. Wright is still in serious condition, and can't eat or breathe on his own. Presently his medical expenses are over $4,000 a day, and his Veterans health insurance does not cover the expense.

The Rev. Al Sharpton is leading a fund raising drive, and hopes to raise $100,000 by the end of this week to assist with Rev. Wright's medical care. Sharpton estimates that total medical expenses could approach $500,000. Wright is expected to be taken off the respirator within 6 weeks.
