New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter told reporters yesterday that he wants to be like his buddy Michael Jordan and one day obtain ownership in a Major League Baseball team. It looks like Jordan may have started a new trend in terms of entrepreneurship for professional athletes. Most athletes don't have the constant cash flow of Jordan, but with the money that Jeter and others are making team ownership is an obtainable goal.
