Kwame Now In Jail

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was formally sentenced and carried off to jail yesterday for 4 months. The Detroit Free Press reports that Kilpatrick was his usual "arrogant" self as described by Judge David Groner, and describes his behavior below:

"Kilpatrick spent much of his three hours in court frowning, shaking his head, smirking, laughing and goofing around, at one point, even needling Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy and her assistants."

It appears, that Kwame Kilpatrick still hasn't learned anything from the text messaging scandal. He'll have 4 months in jail to reflect on his actions, and perhaps upon his release he'll feel some contrition.
