The Detroit Free Press reports that at noon today, more potentially explosive text messages will be released involving Chistine Beatty and Ex-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. Beatty's lawyers didn't have enough time to appeal a judge's decision to release the messages. In hindsight, perhaps Beatty should have taken the original deal offered to her.

I really wish Kirkpatrick and this issue would go away. America, and especially Detroit, with its economic woes and violence, has more serious matters to tackle and overcome.
