TV One and BET Covering Democratic Convention Very Differently

The Los Angeles Times has posted an interesting article regarding how the two black cable networks, TV One and BET will cover the Democratic Convention this week. TV One will be covering the convention gavel to gavel in prime time, while BET will provide sporadic coverage except for broadcasting Barack Obama's acceptance speech in it's entirety.

Obviously BET still doesn't get it. This week will be one of the most historical weeks in our lifetime and they're only providing sporadic coverage. Don't get me wrong, I love watching reruns of "Girlfriends" or the latest "Access Granted", but come on BET, "You're Better Than That."
