Legacy Still Intact!

Basketball icon Michael Jordan retired for the second time 10 years ago yesterday from the Chicago Bulls. Jordan retired being widely recognized as the greatest basketball player of all time. J.A. Adande writes on ESPN.com that although Jordan did come back for a few years to play for the Washington Wizards, and more recently we've been fortunate to witness the wizardry of Lebron James, that Jordan is still the icon that he was 10 years ago.

At the time of his retirement 800 reporters attended the Jordan press conference. Times have changed since then, and Adande writes correctly that Jordan mesmerized our psyche back then, but now there are rough economic times and just other things that are higher on the priority scale. The memories that Jordan gave us, however, will last forever.
