Michael Steele Wants To Be RNC Chair

Michael Steele, former Lieutenant Governor for the state of Maryland has thrown his name in the hat to be considered the next Republican National Committee Chairman. Steele apparently may have a shot at the position as he's being supported by Sean Hannity and Newt Gingrich.

Steele, who is a regular contributor to the Sean Hannity show. He's a die hard conservative, and although I can understand him not supporting our new president-elect, he showed Barack Obama no love at all, which is his prerogative. This is clearly a ploy of the GOP to clearly diversify the party for future elections. If anyone is interested, this is Steele's site.

I'll believe it when I see it. They didn't even let him speak during primetime at the RNC convention. Please! What plane did he take to get to his own Fantasy Island?
