The Baltimore Sun profiles 1996 Olympic Gymnastics Gold Medalist, Dominique Dawes, who has successfully transitioned from the spotlight of the athletic world to teaching the sport and giving motivational speeches. With the Olympics beginning this week, Dawes is back in the spotlight, and will be serving as a journalist for Yahoo Sports at the Beijing Games.
Still only 31, Dawes is doing what she loves to do, and giving back to the community at the same time.
