Mom Helped Adjust John Wall's Attitude!

Future #1 NBA John Wall was 9 years-old when his father died of lung cancer. His mother knew that he had talent, but that he needed an attitude adjustment because of the anger and frustration that he had due to the loss of his father. The young Wall had trust issues with his coaches at a young age, and at the age of thirteen his mother had to give him an ultimatum, either begin trusting or give up basketball. Enrolling him in a Christian school, and taking her son to church changed the young man for the better and the result today is the best college basketball player in the country. Great article from the Charlotte Observer.
