Wells Fargo Does Indeed Purchase Wachovia

The Charlote Observer is now reporting that with Citigroup Inc. talks breaking down, that Wachovia Corp. is indeed being purchased by mortgage giant Wells Fargo, merging all of Wachovia's assets.
